Institutional share of quality and volume

The charts below show how the volume of submitted activity judged to be 4*, and the volume judged to be at least 3*, are distributed across institutions in the REF and in the RAE. The nature of the distribution is similar in the two exercises, indicating that the two exercises provide a similar degree of differentiation between institutions.
