Three-quarters of the institutions had at least 10% of their submitted activity graded at 4*. One quarter had at least 30% graded at 3* or above.
Three-quarters of the institutions had at least 49% of their submitted activity graded at 3* or above. One quarter had at least 79% graded at 3* or above.
Each element of the assessment – outputs, impact and environment – provided differentiation between institutions.
